Food systems transformation is key to a better future.
It starts with all of us.
#SocialGastronomy
The Social Gastronomy Movement (SGM) is a growing global network of people and organizations using the power of food to transform individual lives, foster more inclusive communities, and create positive social change.
Social Gastronomy works to address social inequality, improve nutrition, and engage people to leverage their skills for social good.
Together we face the immense challenge of co-creating food systems that are good for all. With over 828 million people experiencing hunger and the convergence of COVID, climate emergency, conflict, and rising food costs, our solidarity, action, and collective efforts are more important than ever.
As an international movement, SGM is human-centered. By using food as a tool to connect people, enable dignified livelihoods, minimize social inequities, care for the planet, and learn with each other, we can generate a more equitable, inclusive, innovative, and caring society.
Join us in the efforts to make our societies more equitable and inclusive while also working toward ensuring a healthy future for our planet.
