Brasil Comes to You, USA

Brings authentic Brazilian cuisine and culture to homes and online classes, teaching fresh, healthy cooking and food diversity. Specializes in private events and educational experiences rooted in Bahia’s rich culinary heritage.

Hadassah Nutrition, Ivory Coast

 Ensures children, women, and men enjoy good nutritional status and fights malnutrition among vulnerable populations.

Boodla, Sweden

Boodla is a non-profit based in southern Stockholm that engages urban communities through growing food and cooking together. By connecting people through shared meals and a respect for nature, it promotes social integration and sustainability.

The organization runs vocational SFI programs for aspiring gardeners and youth initiatives such as “Force for Good,” creating pathways into employment in the green sector. Founded in 2013, Boodla operates a community house, café, and a 5,000 sqm edible garden that supports learning, inclusion, and sustainable living.

Fondazione MATER, Switzerland
Promotes social inclusion through nutrition by providing access to balanced meals for vulnerable people and combating food waste. Offers high-end, zero-waste culinary experiences using local, seasonal produce.

Pro-Ema, Timor Leste

Empowers girls and young women in Timor Leste through education, skills training, and social gastronomy programs. Prepares beneficiaries for independent living and entry into the labor market while improving nutrition and livelihoods

Haver til Maver, Denmark

Haver til Maver (Gardens to bellies) has, since 2006, worked to strengthen the well-being of children and youth through culinary school garden activities. The activities are a part of the self-owned fund, Grobund, based in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.

There are 13 Haver til Maver school gardens around Denmark, where 5000+ children aged 10-11 engage in 8 outdoor school days (from April to October), full of growing, harvesting, and cooking with organic vegetables.

Besides the school garden programmes, Haver til Maver is engaged in projects with NGO´s and other organizations and groups from the Danish civil society.

Fundación Gastronomía Social, Chile & Colombia

Uses gastronomy as a tool for social transformation, addressing food insecurity, social exclusion, unemployment, and environmental challenges.

Sarvaguna Foods & Kitchen is a Pokhara-based social enterprise in Nepal that provides nutritious, locally sourced meals through its institutional kitchen services. Delivering over 9,000 meals daily across schools, hospitals, and events, it promotes a farm-to-table approach while supporting local farmers and strengthening food systems.

In addition to its catering services, Sarvaguna trains and employs young chefs, positioning them as agents of change in sustainable food practices. Through this integrated model, it works to improve nutrition, support local value chains, and build a more inclusive and sustainable food system.

Lystgården, Norway

Lystgården, once the childhood summer house of the composer Edvard Grieg, has since

2017, been transformed into a hub for food and sustainability.

Today, it is a volunteer-based organization working with social and ecological sustainability, using food and urban farming as main tools.

Lystgården has a local, regional, and national reach. By focusing on the food system as a whole, it creates a vibrant arena for learning, sharing, and participation, offering activities such as community meals, courses, workshops, markets, work training programs, and conversations that strengthen community and inspire change.

Ghana Food Movement, Ghana

 A non-profit highlighting the potential of Ghanaian ingredients and cuisines to drive social, economic, and environmental sustainability. Connects and mobilizes food change makers across Ghana.

Botildenborg, Sweden

Botildenborg is a Malmö-based non-profit organization dedicated to creating social, environmental, and economic impact through food. It combines urban farming, circular food systems, and social inclusion to empower individuals—particularly those far from the labor market—to gain skills, confidence, and pathways into employment.

The organization runs urban farming and gardening initiatives, including school gardens for children and social gardening programs for seniors. It also provides training and work integration programs for immigrants and job seekers, while collaborating with universities, cities, and NGOs to measure impact and strengthen social innovation.

Melting Pot, Denmark

The vision of Melting Pot Foundation (MPF) is to drive social change through transformative culinary journeys and local empowerment – primarily propelled by a diverse range of youth educational programs across South America, North America, the MENA region, and Denmark.

Through partnerships, mixed funding and partnerships, and collaborative community-anchored projects, MPF acts as a catalyst for deliciousness, systematic change, and long-term impact in our food systems.
